Do men or women buy more on social media?

According to Brandwatch, people, on average, have 7.6 social media accounts and spend, again on average, 142 minutes a day on social media.

And in 2015, social networks earned an estimated $8.3 billion from advertising in with 38% of organizations planning to spend more than 20% of their total advertising budgets on social media channels … and that was 5 years ago.

As of January 2020, according to Wearesocial, there were 7.75 billion people worldwide with a whopping 3.8 billion users active on social media.

With, globally, more than 5.19 billion people now using mobile phones.

They both went on to talk about various demographics such as men vs. women users, dogs vs. cat hashtags used most, and which social platforms are favored.

So here’s my question…

Do you know your numbers on social media?

Meaning the demographics that consume your content most… what type of content is performing the best… or what the best platform for your business is according to what you offer?

Because with that type of engagement, users and statistics it would be a crying shame to pass by Day 7 of the 13 Days of Halloween’s Social Media Audit.

And with the biggest shopping season literally right around the corner…

Is your business ready for the social media onslaught?
