Sitting here thinking about the future when I’m 92 and wondering what stories will I tell the grandkids and great-grandkids?
Will it be all the stuff I shoulda, coulda, woulda but didn’t do?
You know the stuff… the things you shied away from because of time, money or fear?
I’ve had my fair share of “shoulda, coulda, wouldn’t, but didn’ts”…
And yeah, I build sales funnels and get clients huge ROI but that’s not what I want to be remembered for either.
Nope.
Because let’s face it… no eulogy ever started with “They made a lot of money and built a successful business”.
They always talk about the things money can’t buy… and that’s what I want to be remembered for.
… my grit, curiosity, tenacity and mile-high, my quick wit and loud laughter, being a good mom, wife and friend.
But even more importantly, I want to be remembered for how I made people feel seen and heard.
And during these weird times of 2020, it’s easy to hide away and slip through the cracks of life thinking you’ll make an appearance when things have “calmed down”…
But when will that be?
And will you be sacrificing a “here and now” story because you’re too scared or busy or don’t feel you have enough money to do the things you want to do?
It’s a fact that you will never have all the time and money you want. Ask anyone around and their answers will mostly be either “I don’t have enough time or I don’t have enough money”
So what will you do with your time and money?
